New Delhi, February 19 (IANS). A very inspiring moment was witnessed at the AI conference held in the national capital Delhi, when student Ranveer Singh Sachdeva, one of the youngest keynote speakers, attracted everyone’s attention with his ideas.
Born in 2017, Ranveer, in his address, explained the connection between India’s ancient philosophical traditions and modern Artificial Intelligence (AI) and how important the role of youth is going to be in building the future.
Speaking to IANS during the summit, Ranveer said that the main objective of his presentation was to show that India’s timeless ideas can give a new direction to today’s technological world. He said that they are trying to connect ancient Indian philosophy with modern technology and also told how different countries of the world are developing their own AI models.
Ranveer also presented a practical example related to a recently released Indian AI model. He explained that such innovations can contribute to strengthening the country’s economy. Ranveer said that they are showing through their use case how new technologies can contribute to India’s GDP growth.
Referring to the rapidly changing world of technology, Ranveer said that Artificial Intelligence (AI) will have the biggest impact on the youth. Gen-G and Generation Alpha along with Millennials will be the real drivers of this change, as these generations have grown up in a digital environment and have the ability to rapidly adopt new technologies.
Ranveer also said that the decisions that developers, governments and institutions are taking today will determine the way future generations live and work. The conference brings together policy-makers, industry representatives, researchers, startups and students from across the country and abroad to discuss AI innovation, policy and its practical applications.
