New Delhi, February 21 (IANS). Karan Adani on Saturday said that true business leadership is based on people and values. He was awarded the ‘Business Leader of the Year’ award at the Foundation Day function of All India Management Association (AIMA).
After receiving the honour, Karan Adani expressed humility and gratitude and said that this achievement is not an individual but the result of collective effort. Dedicating this honor to the employees of Adani Group, he said that the employees who work day and night at plants and remote sites across the country are the real strength of the organization.
He also made an emotional mention of the role of his family. Thanking his father, he said that from him he still learns the importance of patience, hard work and long-term thinking. He credited his mother for instilling in him compassion, humility and the inspiration to become a better person.
Karan Adani also described the support of his three brothers as his strength. He said that they all work together and are committed to carrying forward the legacy established by their father while respecting it.
Expressing his gratitude towards his wife Paridhi, he said that her constant support and encouragement inspires him to become better every day. He also mentioned his three daughters, saying that they inspire him to be a better father and a better person.
The award was presented at the Foundation Day celebrations of the All India Management Association (AIMA), recognizing leadership that combines strong human values with professional development.
Earlier in the day, Karan Adani said the group’s main focus is on three key sectors energy utilities, logistics (which includes ports and airports) and infrastructure.
