New Delhi, 7 October (IANS). The Nobel Prize (2025) in the medicine field was all desperate to give information to a scientist who won. From mobile, by mail, or whatever digital method could be, they were trying to reach them. But this was not possible. Know why? Because these winners were completely away from phones and emails. His name is Fred Ramsdel and he went out on a hiking (walking) of the mountains of Idaho, enjoying the “digital detox” among the nature!
This year’s award has been received by Ramsdel, Mary Brankow and Shimon Sakaguchi. Scientists have discovered the regulatory tysles called ‘Security Guards’ of the immune system. This research is revolutionizing diseases like autoimmune disease and cancer.
Well, the name was announced, but then the Nobel Committee was difficult to reach Ramsdel, as he was completely offline. His friend and co-co-ordinator Jeffrey Bluestone told the media that he himself was trying to contact, but the Nobel laureate was completely immersed in the winning nature.
A scientist whose discovery showed the new direction to the world, he is cutting his identity by cutting it from all things digitally. This is called digital detox. ‘Digital detoxity’ means a distance from a phone, tab or such electronic devices for a certain time. This is a easy way to get rid of the addiction of being active all the time on the Internet. A time limit is set in digital detox and distance from mobile or laptop, including all social media platforms. Many studies claim that it has physical and mental benefits.
