The Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) has issued a major update amid the continuous attacks on Bahrain. In this dispute that started on 28 February 2026, till now Bahrain has destroyed 124 missiles and 203 drones fired by Iran in the air. The government has also implemented many strict rules keeping in mind the safety of the citizens and the migrants working there. The United Nations has also condemned this attack and the matter is being continuously monitored.

🗞️: UAE Visa Update: Relief for people stranded due to flight cancellation, visa overstay fine waived.

Impact of the attack and main developments so far

In this entire matter, damage has been seen in many areas of Bahrain. 32 civilians were injured in a drone attack on March 9 near Manama and Sitra. Apart from this, on March 10, a 29-year-old Bahraini woman was killed when debris from a destroyed drone fell in the Seef area. The government has called it a direct violation of international rules.

On March 12, a fuel tank was attacked in Muharraq area, causing a fire which was immediately extinguished. Civil defense teams have so far handled more than 130 incidents of debris falling from the sky. The United Nations Security Council has strongly opposed these attacks by passing a resolution on March 11. Hospitals and ambulance services have been put on high alert and 32 special vehicles have been prepared.

Strict instructions for general public and migrants

The government has also issued some important instructions for Indians and other expatriates living in Gulf countries, which are mandatory to follow. The government has clearly said that no person will go near the attack site or the debris at all. Legal action will be taken against those who break these rules.

It is completely prohibited to touch the debris of a drone or missile that has fallen on the road or any residential place. The Electronic Crime Department has ordered that it is illegal to make a video or take a photo of a military operation or attack site and post it on social media. People have been appealed not to pay attention to rumors and trust only the official news coming through government mediums. Electricity and water supply in the country is completely normal, so there is no need for people to panic.
