Loud explosions were heard in Iran’s capital Tehran on Monday, creating an atmosphere of panic in the entire area. Israel has targeted three major airports and a major university in Tehran, in which heavy damage is reported. After this major attack, Gulf countries like UAE, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait have also issued an alert regarding their security. These countries have activated their air defense systems to stop any missile or drone coming from Iran.

Where and how much damage was caused in the attack?
Israeli attacks have directly targeted Tehran’s Bahram, Mehrabad and Ajmayesh airports, causing damage to several Iranian Air Force aircraft. An airstrike also took place near Tehran’s Sharif University of Technology from where heavy smoke was seen rising. Health facilities like the Pasteur Institute were also damaged in this attack. According to official reports, so far at least 29 people have died in this attack and many people have been injured.
