The airline has canceled all its flights to Dubai, Doha, Amman, Manama (Bahrain) and Tel Aviv till March 29, 2026. Along with this, flights going to Abu Dhabi have also been suspended till further orders. This is having a direct impact on thousands of passengers traveling from Gulf countries.

New rules for refund and booking for passengers
Passengers whose flights were on or before March 15, 2026, have been given complete freedom to change the date of their travel. Such passengers can reschedule their flights till March 29, 2026 without any additional fees. Apart from this, full refund is being given to passengers traveling for flights till March 8, 2026. Passengers can use Manage My Booking for ticket changes or refunds. The airline has issued a helpline number +44 203 467 3854 to help the affected people. Officials have appealed to passengers to avoid any fraudulent links and trust only the official website.
Relief for expatriates going to Saudi Arabia
It is a matter of relief for expatriates living in Saudi Arabia that British Airways flights to Riyadh and Jeddah are operating normally. There is currently no obstruction in the airspace of this route. On the other hand, special flights have been operated between March 9 and 12 to evacuate the stranded passengers in Muscat, Oman. Due to the closure of major hubs in the Middle East, people traveling between Europe and Asia are facing a lot of difficulties in getting flights.
