After the arrest of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov in France, people are having different reactions to it. Billionaire Elon Musk, while reacting to this arrest, has said that if the governments consider Durov’s arrest right, then they should also arrest Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg because the problem of child exploitation on a large scale has come to light on Instagram. In fact, Pavel Durov, the owner of the popular social media platform Telegram, has been arrested in France due to allegations against his platform and if he is found guilty on these charges, he could be sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Targeting Zuckerberg, Musk said that the CEO of Meta has already succumbed to the pressure of governments, hence no one will arrest him. Even though child exploitation has been detected on a large scale on Instagram and Facebook, Zuckerberg already follows the instructions of the governments and keeps giving them data as per their need, due to which Durov has been put in jail for the same work and Zuckerberg is roaming outside.
Musk raised questions on Europe, said- by 2030 there will be death penalty for sharing memes
In the last few days, Musk has been writing openly on social media in protest against the governments of Europe. Taking a jibe at the incident of arrest, Musk wrote that if this trend continues then by 2030 people will be hanged in Europe for sharing memes.
In connection with the child abuse scandal that Musk has mentioned against Zuckerberg, in February, Mark Zuckerberg had apologized to the victims’ families in front of the Senate on Capitol Hill. Zuckerberg apologized and said that I am sorry for what you all have gone through, it should not have happened. It is for these reasons that we invest so heavily in the tech field.
The rivalry between Musk and Zuckerberg is well known, while Musk has recently taken ownership of the social media platform X, while Mark is an old player in this field. Musk is very active on his social media platform X.
