Foreign Minister S Jaishankar said that terrorism remains a “constant threat” for development. He emphasized that the world should neither show tolerance nor cooperate towards terrorist activities.
He clearly said that no tolerance should be shown on terrorism nor any concession should be given. Jaishankar described terrorism as the biggest threat to global peace and development and said that the countries who take action against it actually serve the international community.
During this, Jaishankar said that in the current global situation, there is a constant threat to terrorism development. Speaking on relations between international peace and global development, he said that both have declined in recent times. He said, “A continuous threat to development is terrorism that is obstructing peace.”
Jaishankar said that as the world is facing struggle, economic pressure and terrorism, multilatorism (multilateralism) and the United Nations boundaries are clearly visible. “The need for improvement in multilateralism was never so much before,” he said. He said that today international conditions are unstable both political and economic.

Jaishankar said that as a member of the G20, it is our special responsibility to strengthen its stability. Give it a more positive direction, which firmly combat terrorism through dialogue and diplomacy. He also said that making energy and essential resources uncertain is harmful to any economically weak country and it makes the path of peace more difficult.
