Mahindra XEV 7e electric SUV is expected to be launched in India in the next few months and will be equipped with two battery options
Mahindra may launch the facelifted XUV 700 early next year, while an all-new three-row electric car is also in development. This car named XEV 7e has been seen several times during testing in India. It is expected to be launched in the next six months and has recently been spotted testing again.
It is expected to be based on the INGLO platform used in the BE 6 and XEV 9e, and will also share a lot of similarities with the existing XUV 700. Even though Mahindra has not yet shared information about the features and specifications of this SUV, its design is no longer hidden, as its production-ready pictures were leaked online a few months ago.
With the XEV 7e, Mahindra aims to move further into the premium electric segment. It is also said that it may include a dual-motor and all-wheel-drive variant, which will share its LFP battery and electric motors with vehicles like the XEV 9e and BE 6. However, the company has not yet given any official information regarding this configuration.

The design of the Mahindra XEV 7e is expected to be largely similar to the XUV.e8 concept. It will be provided with a closed grille, attractive LED daytime running lights and aerodynamic alloy wheels, which will improve its range and performance. Recently seen pictures also reveal that the rear end will come with a full-width LED light bar and a stylish tailgate design.
It is expected to include ventilated seats, luxurious upholstery, automatic climate control and a large panoramic sunroof. Leaked images suggest that the Mahindra Apart from this, it can also get premium features like powered tailgate and driver seat with electric adjustment.
