Patna, October 25 (IANS). Election campaign has gained momentum in Bihar. Leaders are busy campaigning whole-heartedly for the first phase. In the same sequence, National General Secretary of BJP Tarun Chugh said that the double engine government in Bihar has given government jobs to more than 10 lakh youth.
Speaking to IANS, Tarun Chugh said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Nitish Kumar have brought continuous development in Bihar through their double engine government. The people here have also come to know about this. That is why the people are now with the NDA.”
He said, “40 lakh youth have got employment, 75 lakh self-employed women have got livelihood opportunities and employment schemes worth Rs 62,000 crore have been implemented, which has awakened a new ray of hope in Bihar. Bihar is continuously developing.”
Tarun Chugh said that today many such works are being done in Bihar including good roads, education, employment, peace, which are making the people happy. The NDA government is continuously taking Bihar out of the sick state and towards development.
He said that the duo of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has ended hooliganism from Bihar. If anyone can develop Bihar, it can only be done by the combination of these two.
Taking aim at the opposition, he said that some people are trying to fool the people of Bihar, but they do not know that the people of Bihar know everything. Now I am not going to be misled by them.
Voting for 243 assembly seats in Bihar will be held in two phases on November 6 and 11 and the results will be declared on November 14. The total number of voters in Bihar is approximately 7.43 crore. Of these, about 3.92 crore are male and about 3.50 are female voters.
On Satpal Sharma’s victory, Tarun Chugh said, “In the Jammu and Kashmir Rajya Sabha elections, Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Satpal Sharma won with a huge vote. I express my gratitude to all the voters who supported him.”
