Kamala Harris has not ruled out the possibility of re-entering the US presidential race.
In an interview with the BBC on Saturday, Harris said that she hopes that in the coming years a woman will become the President of the United States, which “probably” could be her. “I haven’t given up yet,” he said.
The former Vice President said that he has not yet taken any decision about trying his luck in the presidential elections in 2028. But he rejected the suggestion that he would face major challenges.
“I have lived my entire career with a spirit of service, and it runs deep in my veins,” Harris said. There are many ways to serve. I never paid attention to opinion polls.
He has recently given several interviews after the release of his book ‘107 Days’. The book focuses on Harris’s experience as the 2024 Democratic Party presidential nominee to replace then-President Joe Biden after he dropped out of the race. She ultimately lost to Republican Party presidential candidate Donald Trump.
In an interview with The Associated Press last week, 60-year-old Harris made it clear that he has not given up the idea of running for re-election in 2028. She said that she sees herself as a dedicated leader of the party and is preparing diligently for the 2026 midterm elections.
