New Delhi, November 8 (IANS). Tech company Apple has launched a new section on its developer website, which features redesigned Gallery apps with Liquid Glass.
Apple’s new Liquid Glass design language was first introduced with iOS 26 in September, which was gradually adopted by third-party developers in its ecosystem. Now to reflect this change, the company has launched this new section.
The company says that teams of all sizes are taking advantage of the new design and Liquid Glass to create natural and responsive experiences on Apple platforms. The page also shows side by side differences between popular apps in the older iOS 18 version and the updated iOS 26 version. Which gives a clear look to improve the design.
Apps showcased by the company in the gallery include American Airlines, Tide Guide, Lumi, Sky Guide, Linearity, LTK, Cardpointers, Gropal, Lowe’s, Crumble, Essist, Photo Room, OmniFocus 4, CNN and Lucid Motors.
Meanwhile, Apple has achieved its highest ever quarterly shipments in India. On the back of the festive season and the success of the new iPhone 17 series, the company shipped a total of 49 lakh smartphones in India during the July-September quarter of 2025.
Research firm Omdia’s shipment data shows an increase of 47 percent on an annual basis. According to the firm, India accounted for 9 percent of Apple’s total global iPhone shipments in the September quarter, the largest share for India so far.
In September this year, the company launched the iPhone 17 series for its users. A total of four phones were introduced in the series, which have been brought with next generation features and latest chips. The company’s special offering included the iPhone Air model, about which Apple claimed that the phone has been brought with the slimmest design with pro power.
