Bihar Election 2025: At present the election atmosphere in Bihar is at its peak. While on one hand the Grand Alliance is busy saving its support base, on the other hand, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has emerged as the biggest face in the NDA campaign. These days, the power of ‘Bulldozer Baba’ is rising on the soil of Bihar. Crowds are gathering in every rally of Yogi, and slogans are being echoed among the people – “Need a bulldozer, want a bulldozer Baba!”
Yogi Adityanath has emerged as the ‘super star campaigner’ of NDA in Bihar elections 2025. His latest rallies held in East Champaran and Gaya witnessed large crowds. Yogi made a strong attack on the Grand Alliance by raising the issue of Jungle Raj versus good governance. He said that Bihar should not be allowed to return to the era of crime and mafia.
Yogi said, “We have set up bulldozers in UP for the criminals. When the mafia of UP sees a bulldozer, its bones and ribs become one. Now the same model is needed in Bihar too.” Hearing this, the crowd present in the meeting started raising slogans of ‘Bulldozer Baba Zindabad’. Not only this… many supporters reached Yogi’s rally riding on bulldozers.
‘Jungle Raj vs Good Governance’ becomes the new election narrative of Bihar
Yogi Adityanath clearly said in his speeches that Bihar needs ‘good governance’ and not ‘jungle raj’. Taking a strong dig at the Grand Alliance, he said that 28 criminal cases were registered against his candidate. Yogi said, “If such people had contested elections in UP, the public would have never tolerated them”.
He made issues like UP’s bulldozer model, national security, terrorism and good governance the main focus of his speech. Yogi said that now Naxalism and Maoism have got “ticket to Yamraj’s house”.
The craze of ‘Bulldozer Baba’ is continuously visible in Bihar.
Due to this, the craze of Yogi Adityanath has increased so much among the people of Bihar that the candidates of other parties included in the NDA alliance are also demanding to invite him in their rallies. Yogi, who started the campaign from Danapur in Patna on October 16, has so far held 29 rallies and 2 road shows in Bihar. Apart from this, in states like Delhi, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Jammu and Kashmir, Yogi’s strike rate has been 70% to 100%. This is the big reason why even in Bihar the candidates are considering his rally as a ‘guarantee of victory’.
Bulldozer action echoes from UP to Assam…
While Yogi was targeting ‘mafias’ in Bihar, at the same time bulldozer action was going on in Varanasi in UP and Guwahati in Assam. The administration took action with hammer and rod against illegal construction in Dal Mandi area of Varanasi, while a bulldozer ran on a mosque in Guwahati on the orders of Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sharma. This made the message clear that the ‘good governance model’ is not limited to speeches only, but has become a symbol of the bulldozer in the entire country.
Yogi Adityanath’s campaign in Bihar elections 2025 has become the biggest strength of NDA. His bulldozer model, Hindutva stance and message of good governance are leaving a deep impression on the voters of Bihar. Now it will be interesting to see whether this ‘bulldozer effect’ decides the direction of power in Bihar in the results coming on 14th November 2025 or not.
