Ranchi, December 13 (IANS). BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh targeted West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and called her modern Jinnah. He said that Bengal is being destroyed under his leadership.
This statement of Tarun Chugh has come at a time when the spectators vandalized the Salt Lake Stadium after the departure of Argentine footballer Lionel Messi.
Regarding this incident, Tarun Chugh said that it is unfortunate. It is the responsibility of the government to maintain law and order, and it is the duty of the government to provide security. But, Mamata Banerjee’s Jihadi government has failed in this matter.
Chugh said that today Bengal is being destroyed under the leadership of Mamata Banerjee, the modern Jinnah, as the new incarnation of the Muslim League.
After the anger of the spectators at Salt Lake Stadium, CM Mamata Banerjee apologized through X post.
He said that I am very disturbed and shocked by the chaos at Salt Lake Stadium. I sincerely apologize to Lionel Messi, as well as all sports lovers and their fans for this unfortunate incident.
On the other hand, BJP MP Yogendra Chandolia has strongly hit back at Mamata Banerjee’s statement in which she had said in opposition to the SIR that if the names of women are removed during the review of the voter list, then they should be ready with kitchen tools.
On this statement of Mamata Banerjee, the BJP MP said that apart from Mamata Banerjee, no one else can instigate the voters. Hooliganism is happening openly. It is objectionable for a Chief Minister to make such a statement; FIR should be registered against this. The country’s leadership should take cognizance of this.
Taking a jibe at Mamata Banerjee, she said that if she says that she will not fill the SIR form, then it is clear that if she is not a voter, she cannot even contest the elections. This clearly means that he has surrendered even before the elections. People have made NDA victorious in Bihar, the people of Bengal are going to answer for the hooliganism in Bengal. Not only in Bengal, now the opinion of the people of the country is forming that remove Mamata Banerjee, save West Bengal.
