Dr. Nusrat Parveen, who came into limelight after the hijab incident in Bihar, has been offered a job by the Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand. State Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari has offered Nusrat a salary of Rs 3 lakh, a government flat and posting of her choice. He said that Nusrat will also be given security and respect.
Jharkhand Government’s Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari said, “I am first a doctor, then a minister. It is not possible to play with the honor of any doctor, daughter or woman in Jharkhand. This indecent incident with a doctor has deeply hurt all our medical professionals. We can understand what that girl and her family must be going through.” He has given a safe and respectable offer to female doctor Dr. Nusrat by giving her an open offer to join Jharkhand Health Service.
The Health Minister further said that the Jharkhand government has given Dr. Nusrat Praveen the posting of his choice, a salary of ₹ 300,000 per month, government accommodation (flat), full security and a respectful, fear-free and safe working environment. Nusrat can accept this offer anytime. He said that doctors are valued in Jharkhand, and humanity is supreme here. When the shameful incident of removing the hijab of a female doctor took place in Bihar, Jharkhand has proved the true meaning of respect, security and constitutional values.
Respect for women in Jharkhand
Health Minister Dr. Irfan Ansari said that the BJP and JDU governments in Bihar seem to be deviating from the meaning of respect for women and security of daughters, whereas the Jharkhand government has set a strong example for the country by taking concrete decisions. At present, there has been no response from Nusrat on this proposal from the Jharkhand government.
