A new government has been formed in Nepal following the Gen-Z’s rebellion in Nepal. After the formation of the new government, Sushila Karki became the Prime Minister of Nepal. On this occasion, India has said that it will always stand together for the peace, progress and goodness of the people of Nepal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday congratulated and greeted Nepal’s new interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki.

Please tell that Sushila Karki, who has been associated with the anti -corruption movement, became the first woman Prime Minister of Nepal. He was sworn in by President Ramchandra Paudel on 12 September 2025. This government was formed when former Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had to resign under pressure from the students’ major agitations and protests. The movement started against social media ban, this movement turned in opposition to corruption and misconduct. More than 20 students were killed and hundreds of people were injured in police action. After this, the situation deteriorated and the mob set fire to government buildings and leaders like Parliament in Kathmandu and other cities.

More than 50 people died in this violence, after which the army had to handle the front. India’s Foreign Ministry welcomed the interim government led by Karki and said that Nepal and India would continue to work together for the good and prosperity of both countries. Modi also said that violence in Nepal and the death of youth have caused deep pain and the stability and prosperity of Nepal is very important for India.
