Bhavnagar, February 9 (). On Sunday, at Sihore Junction of Bhavnagar Division of Western Railway, a railway employee saved the life of a girl by showing his alertness and courage. The incident occurred when the girl was trying to get down from the moving train number 59229 Botad-Bhavnagar Passenger and lost her balance.
According to the information, train number 59229 was going for Botad-Bhavnagar, during which a woman lost her balance and fell down at Sihore Junction. In the incident captured in the CCTV camera, it can be clearly seen that the girl was about to get trapped between the platform and the train, but railway employee Raj Kumar immediately ran and pulled her and brought her to the platform safely. This courageous rescue operation is being appreciated all around.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Bhavnagar Division, Atul Kumar Tripathi, while talking to the media, said that the girl had lost her balance while trying to get down from the train, due to which she could have fallen seriously. But railway employee Raj Kumar saved him in time, and a major accident was averted.
This incident is proof of how dangerous it can be to get off a moving train. Such incidents often happen at railway stations when passengers try to board or deboard the train before it stops. Such negligence can lead to serious accidents.
Divisional Railway Manager Dinesh Verma has appealed to the passengers to give priority to their safety and never try to board or deboard a moving train. Board or deboard the train only after it has come to a complete stop, and follow the instructions of the railway staff.
He has appealed to the passengers not to try to get on and off the moving train nor to show haste in crossing the tracks. A little carelessness can cost your life. Accidents can be avoided only by being aware. Small mistakes of passengers are causing major accidents. It is important to follow all the rules and not put your life at risk.
