PM modi and amit shah phone call to cm dhami: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah have expressed concern over the serious situation caused by torrential rains and landslides in Uttarakhand. Both of them talked to the state Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami over the phone and inquired about the situation in the state. This shows that the central government is standing shoulder to shoulder with the Uttarakhand government to deal with this natural disaster. This ‘double engine’ government has taken immediate steps to speed up relief and rescue operations in the state.
‘Uttarakhand’ eye in ‘Delhi’
PM Modi and Amit Shah have assured all kinds of help from CM Dhami. During the phone conversation, he inquired about landslides, floods and damage caused by it. In addition, the Center has activated teams of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), so that relief and rescue operations can be carried out faster. CM Dhami informed the Prime Minister and the Home Minister about the steps taken by the state government. He informed that people are being transported to safe places in affected areas and food and medical facilities are being provided.
‘Weather havoc’ and ‘Government preparation’
Due to heavy rains in Uttarakhand, landslides have occurred in many places, due to which the roads have been closed and people are facing problems. Especially, a cloudburst in Sahastradhara area of Dehradun has made the situation more serious. This step of PM Modi and Amit Shah shows how serious the central government is to deal with natural disasters. In the event of a disaster, coordination between the Center and the State Government is very important, and this phone call is a symbol of the same synergy. Now it has to be seen how the state government deal with this crisis with the help of the Center and how soon they can bring back people to normal life.
