The Air Defense Unit of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has successfully foiled another major attack by Iran. On April 4, 2026, 23 ballistic missiles and 56 drones (UAVs) were launched by Iran, which were destroyed in the air by the army. In this incident, the sad news of the loss of lives of army personnel on duty as well as many migrant citizens has come to light. How much loss of life and property occurred in this attack?
According to official information, two army soldiers have been martyred in this attack while performing their duty. Apart from these, a citizen of Moroccan origin who was working with the army has also died. A total of 10 other citizens from India, Pakistan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Palestine and Egypt also lost their lives in this attack. A total of 217 people have been injured who have suffered varying degrees of injuries. The injured include citizens of countries like India, Pakistan, Philippines, Egypt and Sudan who are undergoing treatment in the hospital.
