Patna, April 24 (IANS). Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary presented the confidence motion in the special session of the Bihar Assembly on Friday. While presenting the government’s stand on the trust vote, he said that the work of establishing good governance in Bihar has been going on for the last 21 years.
He assured that just as Nitish Kumar did not compromise with the ‘Three C’s’ i.e. crime, corruption and communalism, in the same way there will be no compromise with these three C’s in future also. Responding to the allegations of Lalu Yadav leaving the school, he said that this power is not anyone’s inheritance. He said that if Lalu Yadav had not sent me to jail, he would not have become the Chief Minister today.
He said that he came into politics because of the atrocities committed during Lalu Yadav’s rule. He said that his political journey started by raising his voice against struggle and injustice. Samrat said in strong words that opposing the misgovernance of RJD has been the basic basis of his politics.
Regarding opposition’s women reservation, CM Samrat Choudhary said that look in the House, more than two-thirds are women MLAs from OBC and Dalit classes. Women have to be respected. If anyone casts a wrong glance against women, he will be searched and taken out even from hell. While assuring Bihar and the House, he said that now the CMO will look after three things, block, zone and police station.
Taking a dig at the opposition, he said that Lalu Yadav became the youngest Chief Minister but looted Bihar. What was the plight of Bihar during his rule? The public knows this. No one can remove Nitish Kumar from politics or from the heart. Nitish Kumar always used to say that now you people will have to handle Bihar.
Samrat Chaudhary clearly said that I have no work other than development. He also gave information about many development schemes. While assuring the people, Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary said that work has to be done to ensure rapid industrial development in Bihar. He clearly said that there should be no misunderstanding. BJP and NDA are one. If Nitish Kumar had not been there, Lalu Yadav would not have become a leader.
He said that work has to be done for the development and prosperity of Bihar. Continuous work is being done to increase the income of farmers of Bihar. Kosi is no longer a curse, we have to make Kosi river a boon. He also announced that such arrangements have to be made that the children of officers and ministers should also study in government schools. He expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.
