In the list of top 10 best selling scooters in April 2026, Honda Activa has stood first with 2,20,774 units.
The most talked about scooter segment in April 2026 was Hero Destiny, whose sales increased by 488.69 percent year-on-year to 25,861 units. Its sales in April 2025 were only 4,393 units. Last year’s low figures definitely had an impact, but such a huge increase shows that the demand for this scooter is increasing rapidly again.
Total sales of top 10 scooters stood at 5,94,443 units in April 2026, which is 22.22 percent more than 4,86,363 units in April 2025. Honda Activa topped the list with sales of 2,20,774 units. Its sales registered an increase of 13.34 percent on annual basis. Activa alone accounted for 37.14 percent of the top 10 scooter sales.
TVS Jupiter stood second with sales of 1,17,383 units. Its sales increased by 14.42 percent and its market share stood at 19.75 percent. Suzuki Access stood third in the list with sales of 70,339 units and its sales have increased by 8.04 percent.

TVS iQube stood fourth in the electric scooter segment with sales of 37,193 units, which is 34.74 percent more than last year. Bajaj Chetak took the fifth position in the list with sales of 34,304 units and has registered an impressive growth of 78.52 percent.
Ather Rizta also performed well and stood at ninth position with sales of 17,960 units. Its sales increased by 78.67 percent on an annual basis. Including TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak and Ather Rizta, a total of 89,457 electric scooters were sold, which is about 15 percent of the top 10 scooter sales.
TVS Ntorq stood sixth with sales of 33,994 units, registering a growth of 33.92 percent. Suzuki Burgman was the only model in the top 10 whose sales declined. Its sales declined by 16.11 percent to 19,337 units. Yamaha RayZR stood tenth in the list with sales of 17,298 units registering a growth of 21.96 percent. Many new models are going to be launched in the scooter segment in the coming few years.
