Indore Fire News: A massive fire broke out in the electric vehicle showroom on the ground floor of an apartment located in Scheme-136 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh at around 8:15 am on Friday. After the fire, all the two-wheeler electric vehicles parked in the showroom were burnt to ashes. At the time of the incident, six families living on the upper two floors of the apartment were trapped inside due to smoke and fire.
As soon as the fire broke out, there was chaos in the entire area. People trapped due to smoke could not go down the stairs. As soon as the information was received, nearby residents, police and fire brigade team reached the spot. Local people immediately started relief and rescue operations. More than 20 people were evacuated safely with the help of ropes and ladders.
Resident Shyam Dubey said that smoke had started filling the flats, after which information about the fire was received. Immediately after this, the fire brigade was informed and people together started rescue work. Policeman Narendra Mandalia also played an important role in rescuing the trapped people safely.
The fire was controlled in time, all the families safe
The fire brigade team reached the spot and controlled the fire, due to which the fire was limited to the showroom and could not reach the apartment flats. Due to this, the household belongings of the families were saved safely. However, all the electric two-wheelers present in the showroom were completely burnt in the fire.
Investigation into the cause of the fire continues
At present the reason for the fire is not clear. According to preliminary information, the residents first noticed smoke in the flats, after which the incident came to light. Police and concerned departments are investigating the cause of the fire.
