Patna, June 7 (IANS). A high-level review meeting was held at the residence of Chief Minister Samrat Chaudhary on Sunday, a day before the proposed meeting of Bihar Cabinet on June 8. In the meeting, many ministers of Bihar government and secretaries of concerned departments discussed in detail the agenda and preparations to be kept in the cabinet.
Responding to the review meeting held at the CM residence before the cabinet meeting, Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal said that now a day before the cabinet meeting, all the issues are reviewed by the minister of the concerned department, departmental secretary, Chief Minister and the Chief Minister’s Office.
He said that the Chief Minister himself reviews which subjects will come before the Cabinet. This ensures that all the issues are clear and ready in advance, making it easier to take decisions during the cabinet meeting.
He said that Darbhanga has got a big gift in the direction of modern and convenient transport system. With the approval of Sairat Vimukti, the way for modernization of the interstate bus terminal has been completely cleared. This state-of-the-art bus terminal, to be developed on 8.67 acres of land, will provide modern facilities to the passengers like better waiting rooms, restrooms, clean premises and easy transportation. Under the able leadership of the NDA government, development projects are getting new momentum through well-organized land management and prompt administrative decisions. This project will take the urban development, transportation facilities and regional economic progress of Darbhanga to new heights.
Regarding the review meeting, Minister Shravan Kumar said that ever since Samrat Choudhary became CM, discussions are held on this topic. He is the CM so he wants to know something and we want to know something, it is a good thing. The media will also be informed in detail after the meeting.
He said that there should be no problem in acquiring knowledge in politics. One always has to learn in political life. If we want to understand, we should talk and meet at every level.
