Ec issues final voter list: Prior to Bihar Assembly Elections 2025, the Election Commission has released a new voter list under special intensive revision (SIR). The list was finally published on 30 September 2025. The Commission will soon share the details of all the data related to it. Under the SIR process, important activities like registration of new voters, improvement in mistakes and removing the names of the dead have been completed. This step will strengthen the preparations for the upcoming assembly elections. This effort of the Election Commission is considered important towards making the voter list more transparent and updated.
Sir happened after 22 years
After a gap of nearly 22 years by the Election Commission, the voter list under SIR in Bihar has been revised. After the conclusion of SIR, the Commission has published the final voter list on Tuesday. The draft voter lists were released by the Election Commission on 1 August. After this, claims and objections of individuals and political parties were taken by September 1. There are 7.24 crore voters in the draft list.

The Election Commission has informed that any voter can check its name in the voter list issued under SIR. Any voter can check the details of your name in the voter list through https://voters.eci.gov.in/.
