Hyundai’s total sales in the month of January 2026 stood at 73,173 units, out of which 14,030 units have been exported.
Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL) has set a new record by registering its highest ever monthly domestic sales in January 2026. The company recorded domestic sales of 59,107 units this month, showing a year-on-year growth of 9.5 percent compared to last year.
Along with this, Hyundai has also set a new record in total monthly sales. The company’s total sales, including both domestic and exports, stood at 73,137 units, showing a year-on-year growth of 11.5 percent. This performance highlights Hyundai’s strong hold in the Indian automobile market and growing customer confidence.
Hyundai’s exports also performed well in January 2026. The company exported 14,030 units, registering a year-on-year growth of 20.9 percent. This is indicative of the growing popularity and strong demand of the Hyundai brand in the global markets. During this period, Hyundai’s two popular cars Venue and Aura also created new records. Hyundai Venue sales stood at 12,413 units in January 2026, which is its best monthly performance so far. At the same time, Hyundai Aura has recorded its highest ever monthly sales with sales of 7,978 units.

Creta has been the best-selling model for the company, thanks to its powerful powertrain, segment-leading features and its great appeal in the mid-size SUV segment. Apart from Creta, Exter, i20 and Grand i10 Nios are also among the high-selling cars of Hyundai and are gaining good popularity in the market.
Talking about the upcoming new products, Exeter facelift and Verna facelift are likely to be launched this year. Apart from this, Hyundai’s Bayon compact crossover is also expected to enter the Indian market by the end of this year. It will be positioned between Exeter and Venue, which will further strengthen the company’s compact SUV portfolio.
