Leader of Opposition in Rajasthan Assembly Tikaram Julie has made a scathing attack on the BJP government of the state. He said that the government is only busy targeting the opposition and setting a false narrative, leaving aside the work of public interest, while corruption and mafia rule is flourishing right under the nose of the government itself. Julie said that in fact even after two and a half years the BJP government has not achieved anything. There are discussions among the people that the government is extremely inexperienced and has failed to leave any mark in any work and hence now efforts are being made to create a narrative against the opposition.
Julie, while cornering the government on the issue of former minister Mahesh Joshi, said that in the case which is already being investigated by ED, ACB has taken action of house arrest at 4.30 in the morning. This makes it clear that the government’s priority is not justice, but to show that there was corruption during the Congress rule.
He raised the question that when Joshi ji is fully cooperating in the investigation, has come out on bail after spending seven months in jail and is ready to answer every question, then why is he being harassed again and again in the same case by different agencies? This is nothing but an act of revenge.
Corruption happening under the rule of BJP government:
Leader of Opposition Tikaram Julie, while strongly attacking the BJP government, said that today under the patronage of the BJP government, fraud is being done openly in the name of buying and selling of lands and all this is an organized corruption going on under the patronage of the people in power. He alleged that when the responsible officers themselves start misusing the entire system for personal gain by breaking the rules, then it becomes clear how deep the roots of corruption are.
The bribery in the name of changing the alignment of Jhunjhunu bypass and 60 percent of the registries being without any valid identity card shows that all this is a big scam done under a well-planned plan under the patronage of the government. Julie said in a sharp tone that at present there is no governance in Rajasthan but a system of corruption is running in which the rights of the common people are being openly looted.
Gravel mafia has become fearless and scary:
Expressing concern over the law and order situation of the state, Julie said that the dreadful orgy of gravel mafia is continuing in Bhilwara. Since morning, illegal gravel dumpers have been running on the city roads posing as ‘Yamraj’, due to which the lives of the general public are in danger. He said that the situation has become so bad that BJP MP Damodar Agarwal himself has to publicly say that the gravel mafia has become fearless and ‘cannibals’. When the ruling party MPs are not feeling safe and are confirming that the mafia is unbridled, then it can be understood what is the condition of the Home Department and law and order in Rajasthan.
