-IAS team in tennis, RAS team in cricket, winning start

Jaipur. Chief Secretary V. Srinivas formally inaugurated the State Level Civil Services CS Challenger Cup-2025 held at Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on Thursday. This competition, organized by Jaipur District Administration under the aegis of Personnel Department, is being organized continuously since the year 2012, which has become a powerful medium to encourage sports culture in civil services. On this occasion, Chief Secretary V. Srinivas said that campaigns like Fit India Movement have strengthened the sports culture in the country. He said that competitions like CS Challenger Cup are not only helpful in keeping the officers and employees physically fit but also promote team spirit, discipline and positive energy. He encouraged the medal winning players of the All India Civil Services Lawn Tennis Competition held in Gandhinagar (Gujarat) by honoring them.
Chief Electoral Officer of Rajasthan Naveen Mahajan administered the oath to the officers, employees and players present on the occasion of Good Governance Day. He said that this competition is an excellent example of participation in sports along with state responsibilities.
Neeraj K, Government Secretary, Youth Affairs and Sports Department. Pawan said that the aim of the state government is that the players of Rajasthan become medal winners in national and international forums, especially in the Olympics. For this, continuous investment is being made in sports infrastructure, training and resources.
It is noteworthy that under CS Challenger Cup-2025, tennis, badminton and cricket competitions are being organized from December 25 to 29, 2025. Tennis competitions will be held at Jai Club, while badminton and cricket competitions will be held at Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
According to the Department of Personnel, the State Level Civil Services CS Challenger Cup was started in the year 2012. Till now 11 successful editions of this competition have been organized, which were organized in Jaipur and Kota in different years.
This is the 12th edition of the competition organized in the year 2025, in which officers and employees of various services including Indian Administrative Service, Indian Police Service, Rajasthan Administrative Service, Rajasthan Police Service, Rajasthan Accounts Service, Secretariat Service, Rajasthan Medical Service, Rajasthan Forest Service, Rajasthan Education Service are participating.
Under the CS Challenger Cup-2025 organized this year, 19 men and 2 women teams are participating in the tennis competition, 17 men and 13 women teams in the badminton competition and 7 teams in the cricket competition.
Additional Chief Secretary of Public Works Department Praveen Gupta, Jaipur Divisional Commissioner Poonam, Jaipur District Collector Jitendra Soni, ADM Jaipur North Mukesh Kumar Mund, Senior Sports Officer of Personnel Department Malti Chauhan, officers of various services, Rajasthan State Sports Council officials, players and sports lovers were present in the program.
Winning start of IAS team in tennis, RAS team in cricket—
In the tennis matches, in Pool A, IAS team defeated Agriculture Department by 2-0, Secretariat Service team defeated IFS by 2-0. Defeated the team 2-1. IPS in Pool B matches The team defeated the Planning Department and Commercial Tax Department 2-0.
Cricket RFS In the match between RAS team and R.F.S. The team scored 127 runs while playing first. RAS team achieved the target without losing any wicket and defeated R.F.S. Defeated the team by 10 wickets. Radheshyam Delu contributed 62 runs and Rashtradeep Yadav contributed 31 runs for the RAS team.
Four pools of badminton women’s teams were created, in which Raj was from Pool A. Accounts Service, DOITC from Pool B, Animal Husbandry Department from Pool C and Raj from Pool D. Engineering department teams topped their pool by winning the league match.
Similarly, Raj ruled in men’s badminton matches. The Medical Services team topped Pool D.
