Under the Chandigarh, Punjab Air Haryana tour organized by Press Information Bureau (PIB), Jaipur, a delegation of senior journalists from Rajasthan observed the retreat parade organized at Attari Border on India-Pakistan International Border. On this occasion, the delegation witnessed the ceremony full of patriotism and discipline and appreciated the indomitable courage and dedication of the security forces. Disciplined march, energetic march and coordinated display was displayed by the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel during the retreat parade. Strengthened the feeling of national pride in everyone.
Journalists described this occasion as an important experience to understand India’s security system, vigilance of borders and discipline of soldiers. The members of the delegation said that this retreat parade organized at Attari Border is a powerful symbol of the unity, integrity and sovereignty of the country.
This tour has been organized with the aim of understanding the various developmental and national importance initiatives of the Central Government, under which the delegation is visiting various institutions of Chandigarh and Punjab.
During this tour, the delegation visited major historical and cultural sites in Amritsar. Obtained detailed information about various aspects related to historical, cultural and national importance there.
Journalists felt the spiritual atmosphere and tradition of community service at Sri Harmandir Sahib in Amritsar. The delegation understood that important chapter of the country’s history through historical documents, pictures and memoirs related to the Partition period at the Partition Museum located in Amritsar. At Jallianwala Bagh, the delegation paid tribute at the Martyr Memorial and obtained information about the facts related to the historical event.
