Bhopal, April 13 (IANS). The medical cell of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Madhya Pradesh is going to start ‘Seva Prakalp’ on Tuesday, April 14, at the party’s state headquarters in Bhopal. Its objective is to strengthen welfare measures for party workers.
This initiative will be inaugurated by Chief Minister Mohan Yadav in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla and BJP state president Hemant Khandelwal.
According to Dr. Vishal Singh Baghel, State Convenor of BJP Medical Cell, this initiative has been designed to provide timely medical aid and guidance to needy party workers.
He said the project is in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and strives to ensure accessible healthcare support within the organization.
State BJP media cell in-charge Ashish Aggarwal said on Monday that under the ‘Seva Prakalp’, a dedicated help desk will be set up at the BJP state headquarters in Bhopal. There will also be a consultation room where experienced doctors and experts will provide medical advice, preliminary diagnosis and guidance.
He said the initiative is expected to serve as a reliable support system, especially for workers who need immediate medical attention or help accessing health services.
The project will also ease access to government health schemes including Ayushman Bharat. For this it will provide information and help the beneficiaries in solving the problems faced. It will also help in arranging financial assistance through Chief Minister’s Relief Fund and discretionary grants for eligible persons.
He further said that the application process has been kept simple and transparent, which will require basic documents like medical certificate, estimated treatment cost, proof of income and identity card. Cases involving serious diseases like cancer, heart disease and kidney related diseases will be given priority to ensure timely intervention.
To expand its reach, information about this initiative will be shared through social media, WhatsApp networks, print media and organizational meetings held at the grassroots level. A mobile application is also expected to be launched to streamline services and improve accessibility.
Aggarwal said that with the presence of senior leadership at its launch, ‘Seva Prakalp’ is set to become a significant initiative towards improving healthcare support and strengthening organizational welfare within the BJP in Madhya Pradesh.
