Along with this, eating dinner early and going to bed on time can also keep blood sugar under control, which can work wonders for your glucose levels. Dr Diksa Bhavsar in one of her Instagram posts talks about some home remedies that can help in controlling blood sugar in just 15 days.
Amla, Turmeric, Gourd-Moringa Soup: Ayurveda experts say that eating amla and turmeric daily can help diabetic patients. He recommends having bottle gourd-moringa soup twice a week for breakfast or dinner.
Limit fried foods and sugar and change your flour: Dr. Bhavsar suggests limiting sugar, yogurt, fried foods, fermented foods and white flour. It is advised to take gram flour, ragi and jowar flour etc. in the food. Apart from this, patients are advised to sit in Vajrasana after meals to control blood sugar.
Fruits and vegetables: Eating more vegetables like spinach, fenugreek, gourd, tomato, bitter gourd, moringa and jamun, apple, amla, papaya, pomegranate, papaya and kiwi can help.
Yoga for Diabetes: Dr. Bhavsar says that yogasanas like Mandukasana, Shashankasana, Bhujangasana, Balasana and Dhanurasana must be done by diabetic patients, while Pranayama like Kapalbhati and Anulom-Vilom are also beneficial for controlling blood sugar level. Huh. Also, while it is considered good to walk at least 5,000 steps daily, it is best to walk 10,000 steps.
