New Delhi, April 17 (IANS). It becomes difficult for tea lovers in summer. Hot tea makes the body hotter, increases sweating, and sometimes you feel tired, but if you are fond of drinking tea and want to maintain freshness and energy even in summer, then herbal tea made from flowers is a great option for you.

In Ayurveda, flowers are considered a treasure of medicinal properties. These flowers are not only used in worship and adornment, but also help in giving freshness and energy to both body and mind in every season, be it winter or summer. Tea made from these flowers is rich in antioxidants, vitamins and minerals, which increases immunity, reduces stress and maintains energy throughout the day.

Lotus tea provides relief from fever, thirst and burning sensation in summer. It keeps the mind calm and brings good sleep. Hibiscus or Hibiscus is rich in Vitamin C. Tea made from it controls blood pressure, boosts immunity and makes the skin glowing. It provides coolness to the body in summer. At the same time, rose tea is the most liked tea in summer. It keeps the mood good, reduces stress, brightens the skin and removes the tiredness of the day. Also improves digestion.

Parijat or Harsingar tea is a panacea for joint pain, swelling and fever. Prevents cold and infection. Banafsha tea is beneficial in cough, respiratory problems and skin diseases and keeps the mind calm by relieving stress. At the same time, black lotus or passion flower tea is very useful in relieving anxiety, insomnia and stress. It induces good sleep and improves mood.

Maulshree’s tea provides relief from fever, chronic cough and skin problems. This flower is said to be blessed with all qualities. It is also effective in relieving stress. Vishnukanta tea improves memory, keeps the mind calm and boosts energy. Its blue color change is also attractive. At the same time, sunflower and jasmine tea is helpful in relieving fever, swelling and anxiety. Lavender tea is best for relaxation, brightens skin and relieves summer fatigue.

Flower tea can be easily made at home. For this, add 1-2 spoons of dry or fresh flowers in a cup of hot water. Keep covered for 5-10 minutes. Then filter it. Honey and lemon can be added as per taste. Drinking 1-2 cups daily keeps the body cool, mind calm and energy intact even in summer.

According to Ayurveda experts, regular consumption strengthens immunity and reduces problems caused by heat. However, if you are allergic to any flower then use it only after consulting a doctor.
