Mumbai, January 20 (IANS). Actor and fitness icon Milind Soman is very alert about health. For this reason, we often participate in many events related to health or fitness. He participated in the Mumbai Marathon and once again demonstrated his tremendous fitness and dedication.
Posting on his Instagram account, he said that this is his 21st Mumbai Marathon and 14th full marathon. Milind described this event as the most special and almost wonderful day of the year. His wife Ankita Konwar attended the show. Milind completed the full marathon in 4 hours 54 minutes as per his watch. His wife Ankita completed the race in 4 hours 40 minutes, giving pace to one of her friends for his first full marathon.
Commenting on the achievement, Milind wrote, “Running the Mumbai Marathon for the 21st time and this is my 14th full marathon. What an amazing event it has turned out to be. This is probably the only date of the year that is fixed and special.”
Calling consistency the key to success, Milind thanked the organizers of the event, especially Anil, Vivek and the entire team. Also thanking all the running participants, he said, “Consistency is the key, friends. This is where I started running and this is where I show my gratitude every year! You all are great!”
Milind Soman has long been known for his dedication towards fitness and marathons. He regularly runs, does yoga and keeps motivating people to adopt a healthy lifestyle. The fitness icon recently completed a 15 kilometer swim on the beach of Goa. Milind had also described it as his longest swim till date.
He often does unique workouts related to nature. Sometimes exercising in the rain on an open terrace, sometimes trekking in the mountains, and sometimes running in the forests, he completes 20 thousand steps. He believes that running is not just an exercise but a form of meditation. Milind has also cycled 80 km wearing running sandals.
