Neck pain can shake the balance of the body, exercise will provide relief in minutes

New Delhi, October 30 (IANS). In today’s lifestyle, the neck has to face the most problems, because all the work has started being done through computers, due to which the activity of the neck reduces and problems related to the neck and head start troubling. In such a situation, neck related problems can be relieved through light exercise.

The neck is the most sensitive part of the body, helping to maintain communication between the spinal cord and the brain. The neck bears the weight of the brain and helps in movement by giving flexibility to the body, but keeping the neck in one position for a long time can cause problems.

Its effect is not limited to just the neck, but also affects the head, shoulders and spine. Complications include stiff neck, cervical spondylosis, cervical spinal stenosis, dizziness, neck disc problems and rheumatoid arthritis. In severe cases, it becomes difficult to even bend the neck and move the hands.

To avoid such problems, one should take the help of yoga daily, which increases flexibility in the neck. Blood circulation in the head and spine remains good, stress is reduced and shoulder pain is also relieved. For this, start the morning with stretching and do neck exercises. First, slowly rotate the neck in all four directions and then try to rotate it in a circle. If you feel dizzy while spinning, do not exercise.

Apart from this, you can do Bhujangasana (Cobra Pose), Cat-Cow Pose, Triangle Asana, Child Pose or Balasana. Doing these exercises will provide relief from neck pain. Also, blood circulation between the brain and neck will be good. Thyroid gland is also present in the front part of the neck, which helps in the proper functioning of almost all the hormones and organs of the body. By doing neck exercises, there will be good blood circulation in the thyroid gland and proper production of hormones.

Along with exercise, one can also get relief from neck pain and related diseases through massage. The neck and shoulders should be massaged with lukewarm oil. By doing this, stiffness in the muscles will reduce and blood circulation will improve. Olive oil, almond oil and mustard oil can be used for massage.
