New Delhi, June 14 (IANS). Now only seven days are left for the celebration of World Yoga Day 2026. In such a situation, the Ministry of AYUSH is making people across the country aware of Yoga and motivating them to adopt Yoga regularly. In this series, the Ministry posted an inspirational video of actor and comedian Sunil Grover, in which Grover was seen calling yoga the most profitable investment in life.
This year the theme of International Yoga Day has been kept as ‘Yoga for Healthy Aging’. Its aim is to give the message to the people that yoga is very important to live a healthy and active life even in old age. The Ministry is continuously spreading the message of Yoga to the people by posting videos of famous personalities from different fields.
In the video shared by the Ministry of AYUSH, Sunil Grover was seen explaining the importance of yoga in a very simple and funny manner. In the video he says, I have a very good business idea. He said, “You must have heard that health is wealth. So do yoga. Do yoga 365 days of the year and stay healthy. When you are healthy, you will be able to earn money and also enjoy life.”
Posting the video, the ministry said that when the country’s favorite entertainer gives a wellness tip, it definitely inspires people. The Ministry has described Yoga as an investment, the benefits of which are reaped throughout life. The message said that if health is the real wealth, then doing yoga daily is a high return investment. This investment gives positive results in the form of mental peace, physical strength and better lifestyle.
The Ministry of AYUSH believes that Yoga is not just an exercise but a complete lifestyle, which helps in keeping both body and mind healthy. On the occasion of World Yoga Day 2026, the ministry is appealing to people to make regular yoga a part of their daily routine.
It is noteworthy that International Yoga Day is celebrated every year on 21 June. On this occasion, various programs are organized in the country and the world, the aim of which is to increase awareness of yoga and promote a healthy lifestyle.
