Whereas for diabetic patients, the consumption of anything made of maida can be harmful. Excess intake of flour is associated with constipation. The glycemic index of wheat flour is very high. It is not suitable for patients suffering from diabetes and obesity.
Rice: Excess consumption of rice can prove to be very harmful for diabetic patients. At the same time, excessive consumption of it can increase the risk of type 2 diabetes by up to two times. Even if you are pre-diabetic, eating too much rice is harmful. Consuming it in excess can also increase blood sugar.
Consumption of potatoes: The consumption of potatoes is generally liked by everyone, but the amount of starch, protein and fiber in it is high, so its consumption proves to be harmful for the diabetic patient. At the same time, excessive consumption of potatoes can also increase the sugar level. Therefore, potatoes should be avoided in large quantities.
