The Chief Minister said that in the last 40 hours, the soldiers displayed indomitable courage and killed 145 terrorists. He made it clear that no person challenging the security and sovereignty of the state will be spared and this action is part of the same zero tolerance policy.
After this gruesome encounter that lasted for 40 hours, high alert was put on the entire Balochistan, deployment of security forces was increased at every nook and corner.
After such a large-scale action, the administration has declared high alert in the entire Balochistan province as a precautionary measure. There is a fear that the remaining associates or sleeper cells of the terrorists may retaliate, in view of which patrolling has been increased in sensitive areas. Intensive checking campaign is being conducted at the checkpoints of major cities and suspicious activities are being monitored. Officials say that this vigil will continue until all terrorist hideouts are completely destroyed.
