Anju Jain

Cricket player Anju Jain was born on 11 August 1974. It played a part in eight Test matches and 65 One Day International cricket matches from 1995 to 2005. She was the wicketkeeper. She was a player of the Air India women’s team in India. He was awarded the Arjuna Award by the President.

Anjum Chopra

Anjum Chopra, born on 20 May 1977, is the former captain of the Indian women’s cricket team. In 1995, he played his first international match against New Zealand. Apart from being a left-handed batsman, she also bowls medium pace with her right hand. The number of test matches played by him is 12 and the number of one-day matches is 116. Diana Edulji

Diana Edulji, the first ODI captain of the women’s Indian cricket team, was born in 1956. It used to play test matches and one day matches. She is the first female player to take 100 wickets. He was honored with Padmashree and Arjuna Award.

Mithali Raj

Mithali Raj’s full name is Mithali Dorai Raj. Born on 3 December 1982 in Jodhpur, Mithali is not only a cricketer but also a Bharatnatyam dancer. When his teacher asked him to choose between cricket and dance, he chose cricket on the encouragement of his parents. In his first international match in 1999, he scored an unbeaten 114 runs. She holds the record of scoring most runs in women’s cricket. He had scored 214 runs against England. She was the captain of the Women’s World Cup in 2005. He was awarded the Arjuna Award for his achievements.

Jhulan Goswami

Jhulan Goswami was born on 25 November 1982 in Nadia, West Bengal, India. He is also known as Babylon. She is a right-handed batsman and is also capable of bowling with the same hand. She played her first international match against England on 14 January 2002 and her last match against South Africa Women on 16 November 2015. His first ODI match was with England on 6 January 2002 and his last ODI match was with New Zealand on 8 July 2015. Mithali was the captain of the Indian women’s cricket team before Raj. He joined the ICC in 2007. title and the title of best female cricket player of Chidambaram Trophy.

Gargi Banerjee

Born on 20 July 1963 in Kolkata, Gargi started playing cricket at the age of 14. She was a player of West Bengal team. He scored a total of 614 runs in 12 test matches and 409 runs in 26 one-day matches. He played his last Test match on 9 February 1991 and his last ODI match on 27 July 1991.

Neelima Joglekar

Former Indian women’s player Neelima Joglekar was born on 1 July 1961. She played for Maharashtra. He played his first international match in 1978. The total number of test matches played by him is 6 and the number of one day matches is 20. She also captained a test match against the New Zealand women’s cricket team.
