Jaipur, February 4 (IANS). The budget session of Rajasthan Assembly is going on, in which discussion on the Governor’s address will continue on Wednesday also. The proceedings of the Assembly will start from Question Hour at 11 am, in which questions and answers will be asked on various important issues.
During the Question Hour, questions related to important departments like Technical Education, Higher Education, AYUSH, Industry and Commerce, Sports and Youth Affairs will be raised in the House. The opposition will seek answers from the government regarding plans and policies, while the government will present its achievements and future strategy.
The question hour includes 21 questions in the list of starred questions and 22 questions in the list of unstarred questions. Questions related to departments related to Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa, such as Industry, Public Health Engineering, Water Resources, Tribal Areas Development, Revenue, Urban Development and Energy Department will be discussed. Questions will be raised in the Assembly regarding various schemes and works related to these departments.
Minister Kirori Lal Meena will place 6 notifications of Disaster Management Assistance and Civil Defense Department. Apart from this, some important notifications will also be placed in the House. Deputy Chief Minister Dia Kumari will present 27 notifications related to the Finance Department, while Dr. Premchand Bairwa will present one notification from the Transport Department.
Along with this, Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham will place six notifications of the Disaster Management Assistance and Civil Defense Department in the House. Seven notifications will also be introduced from the Home Department.
Annual reports will also be presented in the House. Deputy Chief Minister Dia Kumari will present the annual report of Rajasthan Jan Aadhaar Authority, while Minister Sumit Godara will present the annual report of Rajasthan State Minorities Commission in the House.
The debate on the Governor’s address was extended by one more day yesterday, which will be continued. The state government will respond to the Governor’s address on Thursday. This budget session will provide an opportunity for in-depth discussion on the policies and schemes of the state government.
Congress MLAs will adopt an aggressive stance during the debate on the Governor’s address. BJP MLAs will hit back over the alleged scams of the Congress rule. There is a possibility of uproar in the House due to political conflict.
