Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal reached Shastri Park area of ​​the capital today on Friday. This is the area that is currently affected by floods after heavy rains.

Aam Aadmi Party national convenor Kejriwal while speaking to the media said that he had come to inspect the problems being faced by the people due to floods and waterlogging.

Kejriwal, while counting problems, said, “People are not getting food on time and the government has not made any arrangements to deal with the problem of mosquitoes. We have come to know the health of the people in the relief camp. They are facing many problems.”

He said, “There is a problem of drinking water, we were told that tents have been installed yesterday, while it was already raining.”

He urged the government to make all the necessary arrangements for the people, as this is their duty. Kejriwal said that there is a problem of waterlogging in many areas of New Delhi as the work of extracting silt could not be done on time.

The entire North India is struggling with the tragedy of floods. The families living in the coastal areas are in a very difficult situation due to the rise in the water level of Yamuna in Delhi.

AAP chief said that drains are also not cleaned in New Delhi, due to which sewer water is being backflowed in many areas.

He said, “We can understand that this is a natural disaster, but it is the responsibility of the government to make all arrangements for the people. We urge the government to provide all the facilities to the people in relief camps.”

The AAP leader said, there is waterlogging everywhere in Delhi, the main reason for this in many areas is that the silt could not be taken out on time, the drains were not cleaned on time and sewer water is being backflowed in many areas. Many areas do not have drinking water. Therefore, we urge the government to provide the facilities available to the people. “

The former Chief Minister of Delhi requested the central government to provide relief to the common people amid a sudden floods in many areas of North India.

Kejriwal said, “The whole of North India – Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi and Uttarakhand – are struggling with floods. So I urge the Center to provide relief to the people as much as possible. The Center provided relief material after the earthquake in Afghanistan.

Due to the rise in the water level of the Yamuna river due to heavy rains, some parts of NCR (National Capital Region) have been submerged, causing roads, farms and lower areas in Noida and Delhi.

The Yamuna river was flowing above the danger mark on the Signature Bridge at 7 am on Friday after continuous rains. Yamuna’s warning mark in Delhi is 204.5 meters, while the danger mark is 205.33 meters. On reaching the water level 206 meters, people are transported to safe places.

According to the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), “partially cloudy” in Noida will be “partially cloudy” in Noida.

In addition, on September 7, “partially cloudy and may be splashed with rain or thunder once or twice,” partially cloudy “on September 8-9, and on September 10” will be partially cloudy and the possibility of splashing with rain or thunder “is said to be”.

As a precautionary measure, people living in low-lying areas have been transferred to relief camps set up near Mayur Vihar Phase-1.
