Speaking to IANS in Kanpur, the BJP leader said that Rahul Gandhi questions the valor of the Indian Army. Rahul Gandhi has sworn that he will not speak in favor of the country. They say things that the opponents of India like. Instigated women MPs to attack PM. Not listening to the speaker.
The kind of language Rahul Gandhi is using in Parliament is not in line with the dignity of a constitutional post like Leader of the Opposition. Criticism has every right in a democracy, but politics of allegations and using provocative words is not a healthy tradition. Statements like sold the country are not only politically irresponsible, but also attempt to question the institutions and democratic system of the country. Opposing government policies is a different thing, but weakening the country’s image and creating confusion at the international level is not appropriate. The Parliament of India is a platform for debate and thought, not a place for sensationalism. In the past, many opposition leaders had strongly protested, but he never left the dignity of words and kept the national interest paramount. It is a democratic right to oppose Prime Minister Narendra Modi, but putting the country in the dock under the guise of protest is unfortunate. Rahul Gandhi should introspect and play the role of a constructive and responsible opposition while maintaining restraint in his speech.
