Patna, March 10 (IANS). Taking an important administrative decision in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department of Bihar Government, Deputy Chief Minister cum Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha on Tuesday accepted the resignation of five officers of Bihar Revenue Service. This decision has been taken on the basis of the recommendation of the concerned District Magistrates.
According to the order issued by the government, the officers whose resignations have been accepted include three female and two male officers. The Deputy Chief Minister has approved the resignation of these officers, considering it effective from the date of their application.
Among the accepted resignation letters, the resignation of Anshu Kumar, who was the then Circle Officer of Goraul circle of Vaishali district, has been considered effective from December 19, 2025. Similarly, the resignation of Rajan Kumar, who was working as Revenue Officer in Bikramganj of Rohtas district, has been considered effective from June 26, 2025. Whereas, among the women officers, Shivangi Pandey, who was the Revenue Officer in Parsa of Saran district, her resignation has been considered effective from May 7, 2025.
Apart from this, the resignation of Ankita Verma, who was the then Circle Officer of Rajpur in Rohtas district, has been considered effective from August 27, 2024. At the same time, the resignation of Smriti Kumari, who was the Revenue Officer of Hajipur Sadar, has been accepted considering it effective from August 20, 2025.
According to government sources, this decision has been taken after the recommendations sent by the concerned District Magistrates and completion of all necessary administrative procedures. A formal order in this regard has also been issued by the Revenue and Land Reforms Department. After this decision of the government, the resignation from the service of the concerned officers has become officially effective.
