Bihar Assembly Election Schedule: Political Mahasangram to be held in 243 assembly seats in Bihar has been conveyed. The Election Commission has finally announced a detailed announcement of the stage -wise dates, with which the model code of conduct has come into force in the state. The election will be held in two phases, with the first phase on 6 November and the second phase on 11 November. Last date of nomination 17 October 2025 (Friday)

Nomination check (scrutiny) 18 October 2025 (Saturday)

Last date of withdrawal of nomination 20 October 2025 (Monday)

Voting will be held in these 18 districts:

In the first phase, polling will be held in important districts like Gopalganj, Siwan, Buxar, Saran, Muzaffarpur, Darbhanga, Saharsa, Madhepura, Khagaria, Munger, Lakhisarai, Sheikhpura, Nalanda, Patna, Vaishali, Samastipur, Begusarai and Bhojpur.

Second phase: ‘Final Battle 122’, voting in 20 districts on 11 November

After the voting of both the phases, the counting of 243 seats across the state will be done simultaneously on 14 November 2025, on Friday. The last date for completion of the election has been set on 16 November 2025, Sunday. Political parties now have very little time left for campaigning, which is expected to make electoral stirring on Bihar soil.
