Uttarakhand News: During his visit to Pauri Garhwal district on Monday, Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami inaugurated the modern science museum developed by the district administration on Srinagar Road located at the district headquarters and inaugurated the Kandoliya Mahotsav organized at Ramlila Maidan. On this occasion, the Chief Minister gifted 19 development schemes costing ₹ 110.55 crore to the district, laid the foundation stone of 14 schemes and inaugurated 5 schemes.
The Chief Minister formally inaugurated the District Science Museum located on Srinagar Road and got information about the science-based activities and experimental teaching arrangements developed in the museum. On this occasion, he appreciated the efforts made to promote scientific thinking and innovation among the students.
The Chief Minister visited the museum and observed interactive models, scientific exhibits, and modern equipment based on various scientific principles. Students from different schools gave information about the scientific exhibits installed in the museum. The children looked excited during the conversation with the Chief Minister. The Chief Minister himself enthusiastically participated in many exhibitions and while observing the exhibits related to science, space, energy, environment and technological innovations, said that such science museums play an important role in developing curiosity, research spirit and scientific attitude in children.
The Chief Minister said that the District Science Museum will not only be an exhibition space, but this museum will act as a modern science teaching and innovation center for students and youth. Here children will be able to understand science directly through experiments and activities rather than limiting it to books only. He expressed confidence that this museum will become an important center of knowledge, curiosity and innovation for the students of the district and will contribute significantly in the development of scientific consciousness.
After this, the Chief Minister performed formal puja at the Kandoliya temple and wished for the happiness, prosperity and prosperity of the people of the state. The Chief Minister inaugurated the Kandoliya Pauri Mahotsav by reaching Ramlila Maidan. On this occasion, the Chief Minister announced to develop Kandoliya Mahotsav as a state festival under the government programme.
The Chief Minister said that Kandoliya Mahotsav is a powerful medium to give a new identity to the rich cultural heritage, folk traditions and young talents of Uttarakhand. Today a new chapter has been added in the development of the district. On this occasion, 19 development schemes at a cost of approximately Rs 110 crore were inaugurated and the foundation stone was laid. The Chief Minister said that these projects will strengthen the infrastructure of the area as well as bring positive changes in the lives of the common people.
The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, Uttarakhand is moving forward taking both development and heritage together. Chardham Yatra is continuously setting new records and till now lakhs of devotees have visited. The aim of the state government is to take development to the end of the mountain and with this thinking, House of Himalaya, One District-Two Product Scheme, Millet Mission, New Tourism and Film Policy, Self-Employment and Homestay schemes are being effectively carried forward. The Chief Minister said that to protect the interests of the youth and their bright future, the state government has implemented the country’s strictest anti-copying law. In the last four years, more than 33 thousand youth have been provided government jobs with complete transparency.
The Chief Minister said that protecting the eternal culture, original form and social harmony of Uttarakhand is among the top priorities of the government. For this purpose, important decisions like Uniform Civil Code (UCC), anti-conversion law, anti-riot law and strict land law have been taken. Referring to the various development projects being conducted in Pauri and Srinagar area, the Chief Minister said that the projects related to the state’s first NCC Academy, NIT campus, Ganga Culture Centre, Singtali bridge, Pauri-Srinagar road widening, lake construction, driving test track and sports infrastructure will provide a new direction to the development of the area and will also increase the possibilities of employment and tourism.
On this occasion, MLA Rajkumar Pori, Dalip Singh Rawat, District Panchayat President Rachna Butola, Municipality President Himani Negi, Block Chief Asmita Negi, Chairman of Cow Service Commission Pt. Rajendra Anthwal, District Magistrate Pauri Swati Bhadauria, SSP Sarvesh Panwar, CDO Ashok Joshi and other public representatives and officers were present.
