India’s strong innings
India declared their first innings at 448/5, in which KL Rahul played a brilliant innings of 100 runs. Dhruv Jurael scored 125 and Ravindra Jadeja scored 104 not out. Captain Shubman Gill scored 50 runs. Roston Chase took 2 wickets for the West Indies.
West Indies also fell in the second innings of wickets
The West Indies did not make any improvement in their second innings and were all out for just 146 runs. Elik Athanaz scored 38 runs, but the rest of the batsmen disappointed. More than 20 runs of Justin Greaves and Zayden seals came to the team’s account.
Jadeja’s great performance in India’s bowling
In India’s bowling, Ravindra Jadeja took 4 wickets for 54 runs, while Mohammad Siraj took 3 wickets. Kuldeep Yadav also took 2 wickets.
Next match in Delhi on 10 October
The last match of the two -Test series between India and West Indies will be played from October 10 at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.
