New Delhi: Noida-based smartphone manufacturer Lava is soon going to launch its new smartphone Lava Bold 2 5G in the Indian market. This phone will be the next version i.e. successor of Lava Bold 5G launched last year. The company has officially given this information. It is being told that this phone will be made available for online sale through an e-commerce platform.
Microsite goes live on Amazon
According to the company, a special microsite has also been made live on Amazon for Lava Bold 2 5G. From this it has become clear that the phone will be sold exclusively through this platform. The phone is shown on the microsite with the tagline “Brighter, Slimner, Bolder”. From this it is being estimated that the new phone will come with better design and features than before.
Glimpse of design and camera setup
The company has also shown a glimpse of the design of the phone. According to the information, Lava Bold 2 5G will have a rectangular camera module at the back, in which dual rear camera setup will be provided. LED flash will also be present along with it. Both the frame and rear panel of the phone will be in flat design. Also, power button and volume control button will be given on the right side of the phone. The company claims that this phone will come with a thin body.

It is being told that Lava Bold 2 5G will be a new version of Lava Bold 5G launched last year in April 2025. At that time, the starting price of the base model of the phone with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage was kept at Rs 10,499. There is a possibility that the price of the new phone may also be around this.

Lava Bold 5G had a 6.67 inch 3D curved AMOLED display, which supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It was provided with a large battery of 5,000mAh, which supports 33W fast charging. The phone also has the facility of Media Tech Dimension 6300 chipset, up to 6GB RAM and up to 128GB storage.
Talking about the camera, it has a 64-megapixel AI camera with Sony sensor at the back, while there is a 16-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls. Also, this phone comes with IP64 rating, due to which it remains protected from dust and water to some extent.
