Leaks related to iPhone 18 have started coming out, and every customer who likes Apple products is desperate to know every small and big detail about this upcoming smartphone. Now, a leak has hinted at the price of the phone. Even though technology is improving and manufacturing costs are increasing, the company has a habit of keeping iPhone prices fairly stable every year. For some time, people were worried that they might have to pay more for the iPhone 18 due to the expensive components, but new information from an analyst suggests that there is no need to worry.
iPhone 18 price (leaked)
Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo says that the company is planning to keep the prices of iPhone 18 the same as last year. People are more price sensitive these days, and the company knows that keeping the starting price stable will help it retain buyers in big markets like India. The iPhone 18 may be priced around the iPhone 17 (which currently starts at ₹82,900) or slightly higher, but don’t expect the prices to increase by much.
iPhone 18 leaks: Component prices are rising
Apple is trying to keep prices stable, but not everything is easy. The new A20 chip is coming, and it will cost more to make. Apple’s chip partner, TSMC, is facing huge demand for advanced chips due to the boom in AI and GPU-powered technology.
Due to this the prices of everything are increasing. Additionally, memory prices have also been steadily rising due to supply chain issues, and Kuo says Apple now has to negotiate with suppliers every quarter. Memory alone could become 10-25 percent more expensive by 2026. Instead of charging customers more money, Apple may decide to absorb the loss for now. By securing supplies in advance and maintaining low margins, the company can keep prices under control and stay ahead of the competition.
