However, no one expected this in the field of technology to equal Western countries. Today, India can compete with any developed country on this criterion and it is calculated in financially strong countries.
In fact, during the tenure of Jawaharlal Nehru after independence, excellent institutions were established for engineering and medical education to provide high -level technical education to students. Passed from the same institutions, hundreds of doctors and engineers from India left for America and European countries, where they got their talent ironed. In the nineties, when the Internet revolution emerged, then India started to be considered a country of technically skilled youth around the world. In the Internet era, Indian youth played an important role in bringing digital revolution in the world, especially in America. In the next two decades, India’s computer engineers dominated that they also beautified the highest position of several multinational companies including Google and Microsoft. Obviously, this could not have been possible without merit in a democratic country like America. This ‘coalition’ proved to be a ‘Win-Win Situation’ for both countries, that is, the Indian youth contributed to further strengthening the economy of America in the digital age on the strength of their talent and skill, then America became the leading country to give the youth here a great opportunity. Every year American companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon have given the opportunity to the best Indian youths and give the opportunity to do their jobs today. Are you going to change? Is the end of the ‘Great American Dream’ of Indian students and youth?
In fact, last week US President Donald Trump has increased every new H-1B visa fee to one million dollars, which is many times more than before. Based on this visa, most Indian youth get an opportunity to work in American companies. The decision of the Trump administration is feared that Indian youth will have to bear the most brunt of this, because they get 71 percent of the visas. Experts believe that it will no longer be possible for American companies to give jobs to Indian youth as much as they used to give before.
Trump says that he took this step so that American youth could get more and more jobs and American companies give jobs to only those skilled people from India or other countries through this visa, which are not available in their own country. In the last few years, there was a voice in the US and some other countries that the jobs of the youth there are being taken away and given to foreigners. The closure of America’s doors will not end all options for Indian students. It is not in the interest of the American industry to bypassing Indian youth who achieved a big place on the strength of their talent in the digital age. Hence Trump needs to reconsider his decision.
