Big news has come out on who will run the area after the war in Gaza stops. In the meeting held in Cairo, all the major Palestinian groups including Hamas have agreed that now a new committee will take over the functioning of Gaza. This committee will not be of leaders, but of technically knowledgeable and educated people (technocrats).

In the meeting, all the Palestinian factions also said that now instead of fighting among themselves, they will issue statements together, decide the strategy together and try to raise the Palestinian issue with one voice.

The world considers the PLO as the sole representative of the Palestinians, while Hamas is not yet a part of it.
