New Delhi, May 17 (IANS). Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi on Sunday praised the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, citing the global crisis over fuel price rise.
Speaking to IANS, Naqvi said, “At present, there is a period of global crisis in the whole world. At such a time, a stable government and decisive leadership is needed, which Prime Minister Modi has. India has always played the role of a trouble-shooter. Global crisis comes like an uninvited guest, but there will be a solution to it too. We will register victory over momentary challenges.”
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi gave a sharp reply to the comment made by a Samajwadi Party leader on Prime Minister Modi’s fuel saving appeal that he would use a convoy of five vehicles instead of one.
He said, “I said this because the thinking of some people is very negative and there is no cure for it. It is because of their negativity that they are downfall. If they continue to make such absurd and boastful statements, they will have to face a huge defeat in the upcoming Uttar Pradesh elections.”
Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi also threw light on the organizational expansion of BJP. He said that the world’s biggest training campaign is going on inside BJP. This program is taking place across the country.
He said, “The hard work of the workers has made BJP the global hero of Ground Zero. The party has become a global brand of good governance and inclusive empowerment. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, about 78 percent of the country’s population is under the good governance of BJP and 22 states have BJP and NDA governments.”
Naqvi stressed that BJP continuously works for nation building and will continue to do so. The expansion of the party is directly linked to the development of India.
