Mohla-Manpur, May 26 (IANS). The ambitious Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana of the Central Government is no less than a boon for the villagers. The lives of the villagers of Vananchal district Mohla-Manpur, who once had to face the problem of leaking roofs, unbuilt houses and lack of basic facilities, now seem to be changing.
Beneficiaries say that Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana gave them a permanent roof, while Ujjwala Yojana, toilet construction and other public welfare schemes have improved the standard of living. The villagers thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that in the past years, the direct benefits of the government schemes have reached every village.
There are many such families in the Vananchal area of Mohla-Manpur, whose lives have been completely changed by the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The villagers, who once lived in mud and tile houses, are now living safe lives in pucca houses. Beneficiaries say that earlier during the rainy season, water used to leak in the houses and they had to stay awake all night, but now after getting permanent houses, the families are safe and happy.
The villagers said that they are continuously getting the benefits of various schemes of the Central Government. Got a gas connection through the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana, got a toilet built under the Swachh Bharat Mission and got an opportunity to live a respectable life through the housing scheme. Beneficiaries say that the government schemes have presented a new picture of development in the villages.
Praising the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, the villagers said that today India has got a new identity at the world level. People say that the government schemes are reaching the needy directly, due to which the light of development is visible even in rural and forest areas.
While talking to IANS, the beneficiary woman told that earlier her house was in a dilapidated condition. Now the house has become permanent after getting the benefit of PM Awas Yojana. Many schemes have been made by the government for the poor. Earlier, information about the schemes was not available, but now all the work is being done sitting at home. Many thanks to PM Modi for the welfare schemes. Praising Prime Minister Modi’s 12-year tenure, he said that he has become a companion of the poor.
Pramod Yadav, a beneficiary of PM Awas Yojana, told that earlier he used to live in a kutcha house. Water used to drip during the rainy season. But, we have got permanent houses through the Central Government scheme, this is a very good scheme. Poor people are getting a lot of benefits from welfare schemes like PM Awas Yojana, Mahtari Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana and toilet construction.
